Ingredients list for Italian Biscotti
- 4 cups Refined Flour sieved
- 2 cups Eggs
- 4 Eggs lightly beaten
- 2 cups Walnut kernels crushed coarsely
- 1 Candied orange peel finely chopped
- 1 Candied lemon peel finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 º C. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Roll part of dough into a long roll about one and half inches in diameter.
- Repeat till dough is used up.
- Place rolls on baking tray and bake at 180º C for fifteen minutes.
- Remove from oven and slice crosswise into three-fourth inch thick biscuits.
- Place on baking tray and bake for additional fifteen minutes.
