By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Jun 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cumin seeds, Salt Cuisine Indian Course Beverages Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Jaljeera - SK Khazana 2-3 tablespoons Cumin seeds to taste Salt 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida to taste Black salt 1 1/2 tablespoons Sugar 1 tablespoon Ginger finely chopped 10-12 Fresh mint leaves a few Fresh coriander leaves 1 tablespoon Tamarind pulp 3 Lemons as required Ice cubes For topping Drinking soda Method Dry roast cumin seeds till fragrant and crush coarsely in a mortar with a pestle. Add salt, asafoetida, black salt and sugar and crush. Add ginger, mint leaves, coriander leaves and tamarind pulp and crush again. Halve 2 lemons and cut 1 lemon into thin slices. Put some cumin seed mixture into each of 4 tall glasses. Squeeze in juice of ½ lemon into each glass. Add 2-3 lemon slices and some ice cubes.
