Kale Smoothie

Internationally a favourite super food, kale is very rich in fibre, vitamin C and potassium, it helps in digestion and relieving constipation. Apples add more fibre, while bananas add sweetness and enough energy to get you up and about the next day. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe.

Ingredients list for Kale Smoothie

  • 10-12 Kale leaves
  • 4 cups Milk
  • 2 medium Green apples roughly chopped
  • 4 medium Ripe bananas peeled and roughly chopped

Method

  1. Place kale leaves in a blender jar. Add milk, apples and bananas and blend till smooth.
  2. Pour into four tall glasses and serve chilled.
