Ingredients for Kibbeh Bi Shamiyeh Recipe

  • Lamb mince 300 grams

  • Burghul (bulgur or burgul) 3/4 cup

  • Onion roughly chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Cumin powder 1 teaspoon

  • White pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon

  • Oil to deep fry


  • Lamb mince 100 grams

  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons

  • Onions finely chopped 2 small

  • Salt to taste

  • Lebanese spice 1 tablespoons

  • Pine nuts(chilgoza) 2 tablespoons


Step 1

Soak burghul in one cup of water for half an hour and drain. Take lamb mince in a blender.

Step 2

Add roughly chopped onion, cumin powder, white pepper powder, salt, cayenne pepper (or red chilli powder) and blend till smooth. Transfer into a bowl. Add burghul and mix thoroughly.
