By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 May 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Kokum petals, Sugar Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Beverages Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet & Sour Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Kokum Sharbat - SK Khazana 1/2 cup Kokum petals soaked 1/4 cup Sugar to taste Black salt 2 teaspoons Roasted cumin powder 4 teaspoons Lemon juice as required Ice cubes as required Fresh mint leaves Method Drain the kokum petals and put into a grinder jar, add some water and grind into a fine puree. Reserve the water in which kokum was soaked. Heat reserved kokum water in a non-stick pan. Add sugar, stir, bring to a boil and cook till the mixture becomes thick. Take 4 serving glasses, in each glass put 1 tablespoon kokum puree, 1 tablespoon kokum syrup, black salt, ½ teaspoon cumin powder and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Top with sufficient water.
