Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Kurkure Chicken - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Boneless chicken breast cut into strips 300 grams

  • Savoury crispies 2 cups

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic Powder 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Onion powder 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh parsley chopped 1/2 tablespoon

  • Egg 1

  • Oil for deep-frying

  • Chaat masala for sprinkling

  • Mayonnaise to serve

Method

Step 1

Take chicken strips in a bowl, add red chilli flakes, garlic powder, salt, crushed black peppercorns, onion powder and parsley. Break an egg into the bowl and mix well.

Step 2

Put the savoury krispies in a zip lock bag, lock it and crush the crispies, with a rolling pin, into a coarse powder. Spread them on a plate.

Step 3

Roll each chicken strip in the crushed savory crispies till they are well coated. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.

Step 4

Heat sufficient oil in a wok, slide the chicken into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 5

Sprinkle chaat masala over them and mix carefully.

Step 6

Transfer them onto a serving plate and serve hot with mayonnaise.
