By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Aug 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Leftover dal, Whole wheat flour Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Leftover Dal Puri - SK Khazana 1/2 cup Leftover dal 1 1/2 cups Whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) to taste Salt 1 tablespo to deep fry Oil to serve Potato sabzi Method Take whole wheat flour in a mixing bowl, add carom seeds, leftover dal and salt and mix well. Add enough water and knead into stiff dough. Add oil and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Divide the dough into equal portions. Apply oil on worktop and roll out each portion into medium sized thin puris. Slide the puris into hot oil and deep-fry till puffed and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
