Ingredients list for Leftover Dal Puri - SK Khazana

  • 1/2 cup Leftover dal
  • 1 1/2 cups Whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain)
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespo to deep fry Oil
  • to serve Potato sabzi

Method

  1. Take whole wheat flour in a mixing bowl, add carom seeds, leftover dal and salt and mix well. Add enough water and knead into stiff dough. Add oil and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  3. Divide the dough into equal portions. Apply oil on worktop and roll out each portion into medium sized thin puris.
  4. Slide the puris into hot oil and deep-fry till puffed and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Arrange the puris on a serving plate and serve hot with potato subzi.
