By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Dec 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Makai ke Pakode Main Ingredients Sweetcorn kernels (makai), Oil Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 1 cup sweet corn kernels (makai) 3 tablespoons gram flour (besan) 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped 2 teaspoons chopped fresh coriander leaves 2 teaspoons chopped fresh mint leaves ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder Salt to taste A pinch of sugar 2 teaspoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon hot oil Oil for deep-frying Fried green chilli for garnishing Method Mix together sweet corn kernels, 2 tablespoons gram flour, green chillies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, sugar and lemon juice with little water in a bowl. Add the remaining gram flour and mix once again. Add 1 tablespoon hot oil and mix. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop small portions of the prepared mixture and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
