Ingredients for Mango Chocolate Custard Recipe

  • Large ripe Mango 1

  • Mango pulp 5 teaspoons

  • White chocolate grated 1 cup + a few wedges

  • Vanilla custard powder 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Milk 2 cups

  • Fresh cream 1 cup

Method

Step 1

Peel mango.

Step 2

Take custard powder in a bowl. Add milk and whisk well.

Step 3

Heat a non-stick pan. Put custard mixture in it and cook, stirring once in a while, till it thickens.

Step 4

Remove the seed and roughly chop mango. Put some of the pieces in each of 4 individual ramekin moulds.

Step 5

Add cream to custard and mix well. Switch off heat and transfer the custard into a bowl. Add chocolate and mix well till chocolate melts.

Step 6

Add mango pulp and mix well. Pour the custard mixture over the mango pieces in the moulds and refrigerate for 2-2½ hours or till set.

Step 7

Garnish with remaining chopped mango and a wedge of white chocolate. Serve chilled.
