Ever imagined what life would be without some meetha? The gulab jamuns, barfis, pedas, laddoos, modaks, halwas…you can say let the sugar substitutes rule but not everything is possible with substitutes! One of oldest flavourings and condiments used by mankind, this ingredient is an instant provider of energy. Also available in various types, sugar is either derived from sugarcane or beetroot.

Ingredients for Margarita Pops Recipe

  • Powdered sugar 4 teaspoons

  • Lemon juice 4 teaspoons

  • Orange juice 4 cups

  • Fresh pomegranate pearls as required

  • Orange segments chopped a few

  • Fresh mint leaves a few


Step 1

Put sugar and lemon juice in a jar and mix well. Add orange juice and mix well.

Step 2

Fill each cavity of a silicone popsicle mould with a few fresh pomegranate pearls, orange segments and mint leaves.

Step 3

Pour the prepared mixture into each mould and mix gently. Cover the moulds and freeze for 6-8 hours.

Step 4

Take the moulds out of the refrigerator, de-mould and serve immediately.
