This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Khoya/mawa, Cashewnut powder Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Mawa Kaju Cakes 100 grams Khoya/mawa 2 tablespoons Cashewnut powder 2 tablespoons Cashewnuts roasted, chopped 100 grams Refined flour (maida) 1/2 tablespoon Baking soda 1 teaspoon Baking powder 2 tablespoons Milk powder 3 tablespoons Butter 200 grams Sweet condensed milk 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence A little Icing sugar to decorate Glazed cherries Method Preheat oven to 180° C. Keep a sieve on a bowl. Put refined flour, baking soda and baking powder in it and sift into the bowl. Add milk powder, cashewnut powder, butter and mawa and beat with a hand blender. Add condensed milk and continue to beat with the hand blender till well blended. Add vanilla essence and roasted cashewnuts and mix well. Put the batter into silicon muffin moulds and tap lightly on the table top so that the batter settles down well into the dents. Place the mould in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes. Remove them from mould and dredge them lightly with icing sugar. Decorate each cake with a glazed cherry and serve.
