By Sanjeev Kapoor 28 Aug 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Khoya / mawa, Sugar Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Mithais Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Mawa Modak - SK Khazana 2 cups + 1 tablespoon Khoya / mawa 1/2 cup Sugar 1 teaspoon Liquid glucose 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 10-12 Saffron strands Method Heat a non-stick pan, add mawa and sugar and mix well. Continue to cook, stirring continuously on a low heat, till sugar dissolves completely. Add liquid glucose, green cardamom powder and saffron, mix and cook, stirring continuously on low heat for 5-7 minutes or till thick. Transfer the mixture onto a plate and set aside to cool completely. Transfer a generous portion of mixture into a modak mould.
