Ingredients list for Milk Bhath

  • 3 cup Thin coconut milk
  • 1 cup Thick coconut milk
  • 2 cups Short-grained thick rice soaked and drained
  • to taste Salt
  • Oil for brushing

Method

  1. Put rice in a non-stick pan, add thin coconut milk and salt, mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  2. Brush an aluminum tray with oil.
  3. Add thick coconut milk to the rice mixture and mix well. Cover and cook till the rice is done.
  4. Put the rice into the aluminum tray and spread it evenly. Cool down to room temperature and cut the milk bhath into square pieces and arrange on a serving plate and serve immediately.
