By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Short grain rice, Milk Cuisine Moroccan Course Desserts Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 51-60 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Moroccan Rice Pudding ¾ cup Short grain rice 6 cups Milk 1 Vanilla pod 1 inch Cinnamon ¾ cup Sugar ½ cup Fresh cream 1 tablespoon Honey Zest of ½ orange for garnishing Pistachios slivers Method Heat milk in a non-stick pan. Slit the vanilla pod, scrape the seeds and add to milk along with the pod. Add cinnamon, stir and bring to a boil. Add rice, reduce heat and cook for 30-35 minutes or till the rice is fully done. Add sugar and cream and mix well. Discard the vanilla pod and cinnamon and cook till the mixture thickens. Add honey and orange zest and mix well.
