Ingredients list for Mozzarella Pops

  • 400 grams Mozzarella cheese cut into thick strips
  • 2 teaspoons Dried mixed herbs
  • 1/2 cup Cornflour/ corn starch
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida)
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Mix refined flour, cornflour, salt, pepper powder, mixed herbs, paprika and water in a bowl and whisk well to make a thick batter.
  2. Dip the mozzarella strips in the batter and then coat it with the bread crumbs and keep it in the refrigerator of fifteen to twenty minutes.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep fry the mozzarella strips till golden. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
