By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Dec 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Mozzarella Sticks Main Ingredients Mozzarella cheese, Oil Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients 250 grams mozzarella cheese, cut into thick fingers ½ cup refined flour (maida) ½ teaspoon onion powder ½ teaspoon garlic powder Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns to taste ½ cup crushed cornflakes ½ cup panko breadcrumbs 1 teaspoon fresh mixed herbs 2 eggs Oil for deep-frying Method Mix together refined flour, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and crushed peppercorns on a plate. Mix together cornflakes, panko breadcrumbs, salt, crushed peppercorns and fresh mixed herbs on another plate. Break eggs in a bowl. Add salt and crushed peppercorns and beat well. Coat mozzarella fingers in flour mixture, dip in beaten egg mixture and coat with breadcrumb mixture. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Put the prepared mozzarella fingers and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
