By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Apr 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Button mushrooms, Bread slices Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Mushroom Gold Coin 10-12 Button mushrooms finely chopped 4-5 Bread slices 1 tablespoon Oil 2 Green chillies finely chopped 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste to taste Salt 1 Spring onion finely chopped 1 tablespoon Tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon Mint paste 1 tablespoon Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped 1 Egg 1 tablespoon Cornflour/ corn starch Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan Add green chillies and sauté. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté. Add mushrooms and sauté on high heat. Add salt and mix well. Add spring onion and sauté for a minute. Add tomato ketchup, mint leaves and mix well. Add refined flour and mix well. Add coriander and mix well. Cool. Whisk egg in a bowl. Add cornflour and mix well. Add salt and mix well. Place the bread on a worktop, make a roundel with a cookie cutter. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Apply egg-cornflour mixture on the base of the bread slices, spread mushroom mixture evenly over it. Brush egg mixture over it. Deep-fry the gold coins in hot oil till crisp and golden brown.
