By Sanjeev Kapoor 11 Feb 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Button mushrooms, Frozen green peas Cuisine Indian Course Rice Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Mushroom Peas Pulao - SK Khazana 10-12 Button mushrooms quartered 1/2 cup Frozen green peas 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice washed and soaked 1 tablespoon Oil 1 Bay leaf 7-8 Black peppercorns 1 Large onion sliced 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste 3 cups Vegetable stock to taste Salt to garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan, add bay leaf and peppercorns and sauté till fragrant. Add onion and ginger-garlic paste and sauté till onion is golden brown in colour. Add mushrooms, mix well and saute for 1-2 minutes. Add rice, mix and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add peas and mix. Add vegetable stock and salt and mix well. When the mixture comes to a boil, cover and cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes or till rice is done.
