Ingredients list for Noodles Burger

  • 150 grams Instant noodles
  • 4 Burger buns halved and toasted
  • 3 Large potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 1 1/2 teas pinch Red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • as required Dried breadcrumbs
  • to shallow fry Oil
  • 1 Small carrot peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup Frozen green peas
  • as required Lettuce leaves
  • 4 Cheese slices
  • 4 Tomato slices

Method

  1. Take the mashed potatoes in a bowl, add red chilli flakes, turmeric powder, salt and coriander leaves and mix well.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties and coat then with breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan, place the patties in it and shallow-fry, turning sides, till both sides are golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. Heat 2 cups water in a non-stick pan, add taste-maker, mix well and let it come to a boil. Lightly crush the noodles and add to the pan, mix well and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add carrots and green peas and mix well. Add salt, dried red chilli flakes, mix and cook till the noodles are cooked completely. Take the pan off the heat.
  6. Place lettuce leaves on the base half of each burger bun, place some noodles, place a patty and top it with some more noodles. Place a cheese slice on top of the noodles, followed with a few tomato slices and cover with the top half of the burger bun. Secure with a toothpick.
  7. Place each burger on a serving plate and serve immediately.
