Nutty Coconut Banana Treat A delicious baked mix of custard, desiccated bananas and chopped mixed nuts. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Main Ingredients Mixed nuts, Desiccated coconut Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 1-1.30 hour Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Nutty Coconut Banana Treat 4 tablespoons Mixed nuts chopped ½ cup Desiccated coconut 2 Bananas 500 millilitres Milk 2 tablespoons Custard powder + for sprinkling Sugar 3 tablespoons 1 cup Bread crumbs 3 Digestive biscuits ½ cup Condensed milk 2 tablespoons Honey Method Preheat oven at 180ºC. Reserve 3 tablespoons milk and heat remaining milk in a deep non-stick pan and bring it to a boil. Dissolve custard powder in the reserved milk. Add 3 tablespoons sugar to the pan and let it dissolve. Mix well to avoid lumps and cook till it thickens. Switch off heat and cool to room temperature. To make the base mixture, combine breadcrumbs, desiccated coconut, 2 tablespoons chopped nuts and crushed biscuits in a bowl and mix well. Add condensed milk and mix well. Spread the base mixture into a glass baking dish. Peel and cut banana into slices. Pour the custard over the base and arrange banana slices on top. Drizzle honey, top with remaining nuts and sprinkle sugar on top. Put the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes. Serve warm.
