Ingredients for Overnight Chocolate Oats Recipe

  • Steel cut oats 1 1/2 cups

  • Cocoa powder 2 tablespoons

  • Ripe banana 1

  • Milk 2 cups

  • Honey 2 tablespoons

  • Medum apple 1

  • Medium orange 1/2

  • Chia seeds 2 1/2 tablespoons

  • Seedless dates chopped 6-7

  • Fresh mixed berries to garnish

  • Mixed nuts chopped to garnish

  • Greek yogurt to serve

Method

Step 1

Peel the banana, break into smaller pieces and put it into a blender jar. Add milk, cocoa powder and honey and blend till smooth.

Step 2

Grate apple into a large bowl, squeeze the orange juice into it. Add oats, chia seeds, dates and the chocolate-banana milk. well, cover with a cling wrap and refrigerate for 7-8 hours or overnight.

Step 3

Discard the cling wrap and mix well. Transfer into serving bowls and place mixed fresh berries on top, sprinkle chopped nuts and a quenelle of yogurt. Serve immediately.
