Ingredients for Palak aur Dal ke Pakode Recipe

  • Spinach leaves (palak) cleaned 8-10

  • Split green gram skinless (dhuli moong dal) soaked 1 cup

  • Ginger 1 inch

  • Green chilli finely chopped 1

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil for deep-frying

Method

Step 1

Place green gram, roughly chopped ginger, green chilli and salt in a grinder jar and grind into a fine paste. Transfer the paste into a bowl.

Step 2

Finely shred spinach leaves and add to the bowl and mix well.

Step 3

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop small portions of the mixture in the hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 4

Serve hot.
