By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cottage cheese (paneer), Cabbage Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients 1 cup cottage cheese (paneer), grated ¼ cup cabbage shredded + to serve ⅓ cup carrots, finely chopped 2 medium potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed 1 tablespoon lemon juice Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns to taste 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon red chilli paste 1 tablespoon cornflour 10-12 breadsticks Oil to deep fry Batter ½ cup refined flour Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns to taste ½ cup cornflour 1 tablespoon red chilli paste Method Take cottage cheese in a bowl, add cabbage and carrots and mix well. Add potatoes and mix well. Add lemon juice, salt, crushed black peppercorns, ginger-garlic paste and red chilli paste and mix well. Add cornflour and mix. Divide the mixture into equal portions. Wrap each portion around a breadsticks and shape into a lollipop. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Mix together refined flour, salt, crushed black peppercorns, cornflour, red chilli paste and sufficient water and whisk to make a smooth and semi thick batter. Dip the lollipops in the batter, slide them into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
