Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Parmesan Crusted Chicken Recipe

  • Boneless chicken breasts cut into thin slices 300 grams

  • Parmesan cheese powder 1/4 cup

  • Garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Onion powder 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic powder 1 teaspoon

  • Paprika 1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed 1 pinch

  • Dried breadcrumbs 3/4 cup

  • Fresh parsley chopped 1 tablespo to garnish

  • Eggs 2

  • Oil to deep fry

  • Tartar sauce to serve


Step 1

Take chicken slices in a bowl, add garlic paste, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt and crushed black peppercorns, mix well and set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan.

Step 3

Spread breadcrumbs in a plate, add parmesan cheese powder, salt and parsley and mix well with a light hand.

Step 4

Break eggs into a bowl, add salt and whisk well.

Step 5

Dip each marinated chicken piece in the egg mixture, coat with breadcrumbs- parmesan cheese mixture, slide into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 6

Arrange on a serving platter, garnish with parsley and serve hot with tartar sauce.
