Ingredients list for Pear And Mulberry Upside Down Cake

  • 2 Pears,cored and sliced
  • 1/2 cup Mulberries
  • 4 tablespoons Honey or golden syrup
  • 1 Lemon
  • 100 grams Refined flour (maida)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 100 grams Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 cup Custard

Method

  1. Grease an eight-inch microwave cake dish. Spoon honey on the base of the dish. Grate the lemon skin over the honey. Arrange the pear slices all round the edge of the dish. Place the mulberries in the centre.
  2. Sieve refined flour and baking power into a bowl. Melt the butter and add along with brown sugar and mix. Break the eggs and add and beat everything well using a hand blender. Add milk and beat.
