By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Sep 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Fresh pineapple, Pineapple juice Cuisine Indian Course Beverages Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 1-1.30 hour Serve 4 Taste Sweet & Sour Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Pineapple Panna ½ medium Fresh pineapple peeled and cut into slices 2-3 cups Pineapple juice chilled + 2 tablespoons Castor sugar (caster sugar) 2 teaspoons 15-20 Fresh mint leaves 5-6 Black peppercorns 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin seeds ½ teaspoon Lemon juice to taste Salt ½ inch Ginger finely chopped to taste Black salt (kala namak) Method Heat a non-stick grill pan. Place pineapple slices on it, sprinkle 2 teaspoons castor sugar on top and grill till they turn soft. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Place grilled pineapple slices in a blender jar. Add mint leaves, peppercorns, cumin seeds, lemon juice, salt, ginger, black salt, 2 tablespoons castor sugar and pineapple juice and blend well.
