Ingredients for Pizza Roll Ups Recipe

  • Fresh yeast 20 grams

  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

  • Salt 2 teaspoons

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 1/2 cups for dusting

  • Olive oil 1 tbsp + for greasing

  • Pizza sauce 1/4 cup

  • Mozzarella cheese , grated 1/2 cup

  • Sweetcorn kernels , boiled 1/4 cup

  • Button mushrooms , chopped 4-5

  • Mixed capsicums , finely chopped 1/4 cup

  • Pickled jalapeno , chopped 1

  • Dried oregano to sprinkle

  • Red chilli flakes to sprinkle

Method

Step 1

Place yeast in a big bowl, add sugar, 1 tsp salt and 2-3 tbsps of warm water and set aside for 10-15 minutes.

Step 2

Add flour, olive oil and remaining salt to the activated yeast and mix well. Add sufficient water and knead into soft dough. Cover with a wet muslin cloth and set aside for 15-20 minutes in a warm place.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease a baking tray with oil.

Step 4

Dust some flour on the work table, place the dough over it and roll it into a thin rectangular sheet.

Step 5

Apply pizza sauce and sprinkle mozzarella cheese. Top with corn, mushrooms, mixed capsicums and jalapeno. Sprinkle dried oregano and chilli flakes.

Step 6

Roll tightly and cut into thick slices. Place the slices on a baking tray keeping some distance between each and bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove the tray from the oven and let them cool.

Step 7

Wrap in Freshwrapp and pack them in the tiffin box.
