Poached Egg Burger A unique burger that has a poached egg replacing the pattie. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Mini burger buns, Eggs Cuisine Fusion, , , , Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Poached Egg Burger 4 Mini burger buns 4 Eggs to taste Salt 3-4 Lettuce leaves 1 medium Onion cut into rings 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise ½ teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns 1 tablespoon Red chilli sauce Method Slit the burger buns in half. Break an egg into each of four silicon cupcake moulds and sprinkle some salt over them. Heat some water in a non-stick pan and keep the moulds in it. Cook till the egg whites become firm. This may take about four to five minutes. Carefully take the eggs out of the moulds and keep aside. Shred the lettuce and slice the onion rings in two halves. Place the base of the burgers on the worktop, place some lettuce and onion on it, drizzle mayonnaise over them. Carefully remove the eggs and place over the buns. Place them on a serving plate and sprinkle some crushed peppercorns and drizzle chilli sauce. Cover with the top of the burger buns and serve hot.
