Ingredients list for Popcorn Crunch Sundae
- 3 cups Popcorn
- 8 scoops Ice Cream
- 1/2 cup Roasted peanuts
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup Butter
- as required Chocolate sauce
Method
- Heat a non stick pan and put the sugar in it. Add corn syrup (or honey), 2 tbsps water and mix and cook.
- Mix pop corn and peanuts in a large bowl. When sugar mixture begins to caramelize, add butter and mix till the butter melts completely. Cook for 1-2 minutes and switch off the heat.
- Pour the sauce over the popcorn mixture and mix well. Spread it on a silicon sheet and cool.
- Place the ice cream in a bowl and spread the popcorn crunch over it so as to cover it completely.
- Drizzle some chocolate sauce and serve immediately.
