Ingredients list for Potato Wedges Mildly Spiced

  • 8 medium Potatoes
  • + for greasing Oil 1 tablespoon
  • 1 small Onion roughly chopped
  • to taste Sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
  • 6-8 Black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Method

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180ºC.
  2. Grind together onion, sea salt, roasted cumin powder, black peppercorns and lemon juice. Apply this ground paste and oil to potato wedges.
  3. Grease a baking tray and place potato wedges on it.
  4. Bake the potatoes for ten to fifteen minutes at 180ºC.
  5. Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
