Ingredients list for Pressed Rice Phirni
- 3/4 cup Pressed rice (poha)
- 4 cups Milk
- 5 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Pistachios chopped
Method
- Roast pressed rice in a non-stick pan till crisp.
- Remove from heat, cool and grind coarsely.
- Boil milk and sugar in another non-stick pan, add ground pressed rice and cook, stirring continuously, for three to four minutes.
- Pour the phirni into four individual bowls and sprinkle pistachios.
- Cool and refrigerate for one hour. Serve chilled.
