Ingredients list for Punjabi Roasted Mutton
- 750 grams Boneless Mutton cut into 2 inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon Malt Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon Garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
- 2 tablespoons Red chilli paste
- 3 tablespoons Malt vinegar
- 3 tablespo Mustard oil
- 2 medium Potatoes halved
- 2 medium Onions cut into wedges
- to taste Salt
Method
- Preheat the oven at 180° C. Lightly pound mutton pieces and transfer them in a bowl.
- Add papaya paste, ginger paste, garlic paste, coriander powder, garam masala powder, crushed black peppercorns, red chilli paste, vinegar, mustard oil and mix well.
- Add potatoes, onions and salt and mix well.
- Grease an aluminium tray with mustard oil and spread the mutton mixture on it.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Transfer on to a serving plate and serve hot.
