Ingredients list for Quick Bun Pizza-Cook Smart

  • 2 Brown burger buns
  • 1 Medium tomato
  • 1/4 cup Tomato ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons Mixed dried herbs
  • 1 teaspoon Green chilli sauce
  • 2 Button mushrooms
  • 2 teaspoon for drizzling Extra virgin olive oil
  • 50 grams Mozzarella cheese
  • 2-3 Fresh basil leaves
  • to taste Black peppercorns crushed

Method

  1. Halve the burger buns horizontally and toast them on a non-stick pan, turning sides, till they are evenly done on both sides.
  2. Finely chop tomato and put in a bowl. Add tomato ketchup, mixed herbs and green chilli sauce and mix well.
  3. Slice mushrooms.
  4. Add 2 teaspoons olive oil to the tomato mixture and mix well.
  5. Spread the tomato mixture on each half of the toasted buns. Slice mozzarella cheese thinly and place a few over the tomato mixture. Place a few mushroom slices over the cheese.
  6. Roughly chop basil leaves and put on top of each bun half. Sprinkle crushed peppercorns on top.
  7. Heat a non-stick pan. Place the bun pizzas in it, cover and cook till cheese melts and mushrooms are cooked.
  8. Drizzle little olive oil on top of each bun pizza and serve hot.
