By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken, Cumin seeds Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Quick Jeera Chicken 1 Chicken medium sized pieces 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon Lemon juice to taste Salt 4-5 Green chillies a few sprigs Fresh coriander leaves a few sprigs Fresh mint leaves 2 tablespoons Oil 1 cup Yogurt Method Cut the chicken into medium sized pieces. Wash and drain. Add lemon juice and salt and mix well. Remove stems, wash green chillies and gently break them with hand. Clean, wash and chop coriander leaves. Clean, wash and drain mint leaves. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds. When they begin to change colour add broken green chillies and sauté for a minute. Add chicken pieces and roast for a while. Add yogurt and chopped coriander leaves. Cover and cook till the chicken is done. Add hand broken mint leaves, stir and serve hot.
