Ingredients

  • 100 grams semolina (rawa)
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1 medium green capsicum, chopped
  • 2-3 fresh red chillies, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 4 white bread slices
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Grated cheese as required
  • White sesame seeds as required
  • Tomato ketchup to serve

Method

  1. Add rawa, salt and yogurt in a bowl. Mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Add onion, tomato, capsicum, red chillies and coriander. Mix well.
  3. Take a white bread slice, add a portion of the mixture and spread it evenly on all sides. Set aside.
  4. Heat butter in a non-stick pan, melt it and add a bread slice with mixture side facing up. Add cheese and white sesame seeds. Flip and cook till golden brown on both the sides.
  5. Transfer rawa toasts on a serving plate.
  6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
