By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Dec 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Sattu Pancakes Main Ingredients Sattu, Yogurt Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 1 cup sattu ½ cup yogurt ½ teaspoon baking soda 4 tablespoons butter + as required ½ cup jaggery powder ½ cup whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon baking powder A pinch of salt ¼ teaspoon green cardamom powder ½ teaspoon vanilla essence 1 cup milk Banana slices as required Chopped almonds as required Chopped pistachios as required Maple syrup to serve Method Take yogurt in a bowl. Add baking soda and mix well. Set aside. Heat butter in a deep nonstick pan. Add jaggery powder and cook till butter melts. Allow to cool slightly. Sift sattu, whole wheat flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Make a well in the centre, add yogurt mixture, butter -jaggery mixture, green cardamom powder, vanilla essence, milk and whisk well. Heat a nonstick tawa. Grease with some butter, spread a ladleful of batter. Cover and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook on other side for 2 minutes. Pile up the pancakes on serving plate. Arrange banana slices on top. Sprinkle almonds, pistachios on top. Place some butter cubes in the centre.
