Sattu Pancakes Sumptuous pancakes made with sattu and whole wheat flour make a great breakfast snack This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Dec 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Sattu, Yogurt Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Sattu Pancakes 1 cup Sattu 1/2 cup Yogurt 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda 4 tbsps + as required Butter 1/2 cup Jaggery powder 1/2 cup Whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon Baking powder a pinch Salt 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla essence 1 cup Milk to serve Butter cubes to serve Maple syrup Method Take yogurt in a bowl, add baking soda and mix well. Heat butter in a deep non-stick pan. Add jaggery powder and cook till butter melts. Take the pan off the heat and set aside to cool slightly. Sift sattu, whole wheat flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Make a well in the centre, add yogurt mixture, butter-jaggery mixture, green cardamom powder, vanilla essence and milk and whisk well. Heat a non-stick tawa. Grease it with some butter and spread a ladleful of batter on it. Cover and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook on other side for 2 minutes. Make more pancakes with the remaining batter. Pile up the pancakes on serving plate.
