By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Jun 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Medium sweet potatoes (shakarkand), Large potato Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Shakarkandi Chaat - SK Khazana 2 Medium sweet potatoes (shakarkand) peeled and cut into cubes 1 Large potato peeled and cut into cubes to deep fry Oil 1 tablespoon Sweet date-tamarind chutney 1 tablespoon Green chutney 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Chaat masala 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped 1 teaspoon Lemon juice 1 tablespo for garnish Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped for garnish Fresh pomegranate pearls for garnish Ginger strips Method Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, slide in the potato cubes and deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Deep-fry sweet potato cubes in the same oil till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Put fried potatoes and sweet potato cubes in a bowl. Add date-tamarind chutney, green chutney and mix. Add chilli powder, chaat masala, cumin powder, green chillies, lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix well.
