By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Dec 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Sugar, Milk powder Cuisine Indian Course Desserts Prep Time 1-1.30 hour Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Sheer Payara 1 cup Sugar 1 1/2 cups Milk powder to grease Butter 1 tablespoon Rose water 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 1/4 cup Walnuts and almonds , chopped to garnish Pistachios , chopped 1 tablespoon Sultanas , chopped Method Grease a burfi tray with ghee, line with butter paper. Heat a deep-pan, add sugar and water and bring the mixture to a boil. Simmer, stirring continuously, till the syrup reaches one string consistency. Remove the pan from heat and add rose water, green cardamom powder, walnuts, almonds and milk powder and mix well. Pour the mixture into the greased tray and spread evenly. Sprinkle pistachios and sultanas and set aside to cool for about an hour.
