By Sanjeev Kapoor 21 Sep 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken legs, Dried red chillies Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 41-50 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Spicy Chicken Legs 4 Chicken legs ½ cup Dried red chillies soaked 2 tablespoons Lemon juice to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns 1 medium Onion 6-8 Garlic cloves 2 tablespoons Tomato ketchup for greasing Oil 1 tablespoon + Method Make incisions on the chicken leg pieces and place them in a bowl.Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice, salt and a little crushed black pepper, mix well and set aside to marinate for 5-10 minutes. Roughly chop onion and put into a grinder jar. Add garlic and red chillies. Grind to a coarse paste. Add remaining lemon juice, salt, remaining crushed peppercorns and tomato ketchup and grind again. Add the ground paste to chicken and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 30-40 minutes. Preheat oven at 180ºC. Grease a baking tray with oil. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and place chicken legs on it.Cook on high heat for 2 minutes on each side. Place the seared chicken legs on the greased baking tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes.
