Ingredients list for Sugar Free Chocolate Cake

  • 1/4 cup Dark chocolate melted
  • 1 cup Refined flour (maida)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 12 measures Sugar Free
  • 3/4 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon Soda bicarbonate
  • 1/4 cup Butter melted
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup Walnuts crushed

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180oC. Grease and dust a five inch cake tin. Take the melted chocolate in a bowl, add melted butter and vanilla essence and mix.
  2. Sieve refined flour with baking powder and baking soda into the chocolate mixture and mix. Add Sugar Free and mix.
  3. Add buttermilk and mix. Add crushed walnuts and mix. Adjust the consistency.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin and bake in the preheated oven at 180oC for about thirty minutes. Cool and serve.
