By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Sep 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Carrots, Skimmed milk Cuisine Punjabi Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Sugar Free Gajar Halwa 8-10 medium Carrots grated 2 cups Skimmed milk 3 tablespoons Pure ghee 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 10-15 Sultanas 3/4 cup Sugar 1/4 cup Grated khoya 10-12 Pistachios blanched peeled and sliced Method Heat the pure ghee in a non-stick kadai. Add the grated carrots and sauté for about five minutes. Add the skimmed milk and cook. Add the green cardamom powder, sultanas, sugar and mix. Cook for about ten to fifteen minutes.
