Ingredients for Surati Falafel Recipe

  • Boiled Soorati dal khilma 1 1/2 cup

  • Soaked Chickpea 1 cup

  • Sesame Seeds 2 teaspoons

  • Chopped Onions 1 tablespoon

  • Chopped Garlic 1 teaspoon

  • Chopped Green Chilli 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Red Chilli Powder 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Cumin Powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Chopped Coriander 1 tablespoon

  • Oil to fry

  • For sauce :

  • Tahini Paste 1/2 cup

  • Lemon Juice ½ of the l

  • For Garnish :

  • Sugar Cooked Plum

  • Dill Leaves

Method

Step 1

In a blender blend soaked chickpea and boiled chickpea and then take it out in a bowl.

Step 2

Now add and mix sesame seeds, chopped onions, chopped garlic, chopped green chilli, salt, red chilli powder, cumin seeds and chopped coriander leaves.

Step 3

Make tikki's out of this mixture Heat the oil and fry the tikki after which take them out on the tissue paper.

Step 4

To prepare the sauce take Tahini paste, squeeze a lemon and mix it with red chilli powder.

Step 5

Now put the prepared sauce on the plate with the fried tikki and sugar cooked plum.

Step 6

Drizzle the dish with the plum sauce and garnish it with dil leaves.
