By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Nov 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Tamarind paste, Sugar Cuisine Indian Course Beverages Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet & Sour Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Tamarind Cooler 1 tablespoon Tamarind paste 4 tablespoons Sugar 2 tablespoons Ginger grated 1 Lemon 1 tablespoon Roasted cumin seeds as required Ice cubes 1 tablespoon Lemon juice For topping Drinking soda Method Heat 3 cups water in a non-stick pan. Add sugar, tamarind paste and ginger, stir and boil for a minute. Remove from heat and cool down to room temperature. Slice lemon and remove seeds. Coarsely crush cumin seeds. Place lots of ice cubes into 4 individual tall glasses. Add 2-3 lemon slices and ¼ tablespoon lemon juice in each glass. Divide crushed cumin seeds and the tamarind mixture equally into each and top with drinking soda.
