Ingredients
- 180ml gold rum
- 60ml cinnamon liqueur
- Juice of 1 lemon
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder + for sprinkling
- Ice cubes as required
- Apple soda to top up
- Apple fans for garnish
Method
- In a Boston shaker, add 60ml gold rum, cinnamon liqueur, squeeze the lemon juice directly into it. Add cinnamon powder and a few ice cubes. Place the lid on and shake it till well combined.
- For one portion, fill a glass with ice cubes, strain the prepared drink till ½ filled.
- Take a ladle and pour 30ml rum and carefully set fire on it using a blow torch. Once it has caught fire immediately, sprinkle a little cinnamon powder, add it to the glass and top it with apple soda.
- Stir the prepared cocktail with a cinnamon stick and garnish with apple fan. Serve immediately.
