Italian cuisine has developed through centuries of social and political changes, with roots stretching to antiquity.  Italian cuisine is simple and a number of dishes having only four to eight ingredients.  They rely mostly on the quality of ingredients rather than elaborate preparation.
Noteworthy changes in Italian cuisine happened with the discovery of the New World and the introduction of potatoes, tomatoes, bell peppers and maize, which are now an integral part of this cuisine.  Italian cuisine is known for its regional diversity each with a distinct taste.  This cuisine today is probably one of the most popular in the world.

Ingredients for Thin Crust Pizza - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 1/2 cups

  • Fresh yeast 20 grams

  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

  • Oil for brushing+ 1 tablespoon

  • Pizza sauce as required

  • Button mushrooms sliced as required

  • Sweet corn kernels boiled as required

  • Fresh jalapenos sliced as required

  • Chicken sausages diagonally sliced as required

  • Mozzarella cheese as required

Method

Step 1

Take refined flour in a bowl. Make a well in the center and add fresh yeast in it. Add sugar and some warm water and mix. Add 1 tbsp oil and knead into a dough. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and set aside to prove for 10-15 minutes.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Step 3

Dust the work top with flour and keep the dough on it. Knock back the dough and divide the dough into equal portions. Place each of the portions on the worktop and roll into thin discs.

Step 4

Brush oil on each base, spread tomato sauce, top with sliced mushrooms, sweet corn, fresh jalapenos and chicken sausages. Grate mozzarella cheese on top.

Step 5

Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake 15-20 minutes

Step 6

Remove from the oven, transfer the pizzas onto serving plates and serve hot.
