Ingredients

  • 1½ cups refined flour + for dusting
  • 20 grams fresh yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oil + for brushing
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup pizza sauce
  • 2-3 button mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sweet corn
  • 2-3 fresh jalapenos, sliced
  • 3-4 chicken sausages, diagonally sliced
  • 50 grams mozzarella cheese block

Method

  1. Preheat oven at 180°C. 
  2. Take refined flour in a bowl. Make a well in the center. Add the fresh yeast in the center. Sprinkle sugar and add some warm water. Mix the yeast with the sugar and water. Rest for 5 minutes or till the yeast is activated. 
  3. Mix the flour with the activated yeast. Add salt and sufficient water and knead to a soft dough. 
  4. Add 1 tablespoon oil and knead again. Cover with a wet muslin cloth and set aside to prove.
  5. Dust a work top with flour. For one pizza, take a portion of the dough and roll out into thin disc. Cover with a muslin cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Brush oil on the base. Spread the tomato sauce, top with sliced mushrooms, sweet corn, fresh jalapenos, and chicken sausages. 
  7. Grate mozzarella cheese on top. Bake 15-20 minutes 
  8. Remove from the oven. Cut into slices and serve hot.
