By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Apr 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Fresh yeast Cuisine Italian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients 1½ cups refined flour + for dusting 20 grams fresh yeast 1 teaspoon sugar 1 tablespoon oil + for brushing 1 teaspoon salt ¼ cup pizza sauce 2-3 button mushrooms, sliced 2 tablespoons sweet corn 2-3 fresh jalapenos, sliced 3-4 chicken sausages, diagonally sliced 50 grams mozzarella cheese block Method Preheat oven at 180°C. Take refined flour in a bowl. Make a well in the center. Add the fresh yeast in the center. Sprinkle sugar and add some warm water. Mix the yeast with the sugar and water. Rest for 5 minutes or till the yeast is activated. Mix the flour with the activated yeast. Add salt and sufficient water and knead to a soft dough. Add 1 tablespoon oil and knead again. Cover with a wet muslin cloth and set aside to prove. Dust a work top with flour. For one pizza, take a portion of the dough and roll out into thin disc. Cover with a muslin cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes. Brush oil on the base. Spread the tomato sauce, top with sliced mushrooms, sweet corn, fresh jalapenos, and chicken sausages. Grate mozzarella cheese on top. Bake 15-20 minutes Remove from the oven.
