By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Tomato puree, Refined flour (maida) Cuisine Mexican Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Tomato Nacho ½ cup Tomato puree 1 cup Refined flour (maida) ½ cup Maize flour (makai ka atta) to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Oil Spice Mix 1 teaspoon Onion powder ½ teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder to taste Crushed black peppercorns to taste Salt a pinch Citric acid Powder Method Take refined flour in a bowl. Add maize flour, salt, tomato puree and oil, mix and knead into stiff dough. Set aside for 10-15 minutes. Divide the dough into large equal portions, dip in some hot oil and roll out each portion to thin sheets. Cut each sheet into squares and prick with a fork. Cut into triangles. Heat sufficient oil in a pan. To prepare spice mix, mix together onion powder, chilli powder, garlic powder, crushed peppercorns, salt and citric acid powder in a bowl. Deep-fry the triangles in hot oil till light golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle some spice mix on top of fried nachos while still hot and mix lightly.
