Vada Pav Fondue A playful twist on the classic, featuring crispy vada pav balls dipped in a tangy, spicy cheese fondue for an indulgent, fusion-inspired experience. By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Jul 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Gram flour (besan), Turmeric powder Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients ½ cup gram flour (besan) ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste 2 teaspoons oil 4-5 garlic chopped 1 onion finely chopped 2-3 green chillies chopped ¼ cup Gruyere cheese ¼ cup Emmenthal cheese Red chilli-garlic chutney to garnish Vada pavs to serve Method Take gram flour in a bowl, add turmeric powder, salt and sufficient water and whisk till you get a smooth and thin batter. Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add onion, mix and sauté till translucent. Add green chillies, mix well and saute for 1-2 minutes. Add the gram flour batter and cook whisking continuously, till the mixture thickens. Add ½ cup water and whisk well. Cook for 1 minute and switch the heat off. Blend the mixture with an electric hand blender. Strain the mixture into another non-stick pan, add gruyere cheese and emmental cheese, mix well and cook till both the cheese melt.
