By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Apr 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Vanilla essence Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 1-1.30 hour Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Vanilla Cake Sponge for dusting Refined flour (maida) 1 cup + 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence for greasing Butter softened, 1 cup + 1 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar) 3 Eggs 1 teaspoon Baking powder as required Milk Method Preheat oven to180ÂșC. Grease a baking tin with some butter and dust with some flour. Cream together butter and sugar in a bowl with an electric beater till smooth. Add vanilla essence and eggs, one by one, beat well. Sieve flour into the mixture. Add baking powder and fold in till well combined. Add milk and mix well into a smooth batter. Pour the batter into the prepared tin, level it and tap. Place the tin in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes. Remove from heat and cool down to room temperature.
