By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Jun 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour, Cocoa powder Cuisine American Course Desserts Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Very Low Fat Brownies 1 cup Refined flour 1/2 teaspoon Cocoa powder 1/2 teaspoon Soda bicarbonate 3 tablespoons Unsweetened cocoa powder 1 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar) 1/2 cup Skimmed milk 3 Eggs 1 1/2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence Method Preheat oven to 180C. Grease an eight-inch square cake tin lightly. Sift the flour, soda bicarbonate, baking powder and cocoa powder into a bowl. Break eggs and separate whites from yolks. Whisk the whites with a hand blender. Add a little caster sugar and whisk till stiff. Add milk to the flour mixture. Add oil, vanilla essence and mix well. Add the egg whites and fold in lightly. Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake in the preheated oven for twenty to twenty five minutes. Set aside to cool.
